Melody Summers is on top of the world, living in the beautiful city of Crescent Cove, but when her dad and step mom die, her life gets thrown off track. Mel and her half sister Rain are shipped off to live with her uncle in the small town of Beacon Hills and now her only focus is graduating high-school with her secret intact.

Her plan is thrown off track when the seemingly quiet town is actually full of supernatural beings and the sheriffs spastic son decides that the new girl is a little too suspicious for his liking.

"So you're adding mind reader to your list of new found abilities because flirting isn't one of them." Mel smiled at her paper not looking up as she sassed him again.

"Your heart beat says other wise, Ariel." Issac whispered as he lowered down to her height.

"It's Melody." She replied leaning away as she tried to focus on the assignment.

"I was close then wasn't I?" Issac smiled.

"I'm Issac. Nice to finally meet you, Melody." Issac said lowering down to her height again making her force down the feeling of goosebumps.
