Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
