BURNING BLUE

𝘏𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.

𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚,
just a woman who wasn't trying to run
from her past but wanted
to get as far away from it as possible.

a man who can't seem to escape his past
no matter
how far away from it he gets.

"I'm starting to think you're becoming my cloudless blue sky."

"And I think you're just the right amount of toxin I needed."

Her eyes nearly bulge, "excuse me?"
I grin at her, crossing my arms in front of my chest-almost forcing myself to keep my hands to myself for just this moment.

"Clothes. Off."

I expect her to challenge me but instead, her fingers grip the edges of her top, slowly lifting it over her torso-eyes staying on mine the entire time-over her covered breast, and officially one less barrier to worry about.

"Not done yet."
