Inspired by a dream (nightmare?) my father had when I was young, I started writing this story years ago and discovered it again recently, determined to finish it. I don't really do science fiction, so this is my first foray into the genre -- though technically speaking this is more alternative history than sci-fi. Let me know what you think!Complete
