Never knowing his mother, or father, young Hoka Kaen, is raised alone by his grandfather who trained him to be a swordsman. He never knew his father, and his mother had been dead in an explosion caused by a demon.

However one fateful day... His grandfather had hosted a tournament for unknown reasons, and he was told to join it. Hoka reluctantly did so...
