Rose Potter is smart and cunning. Maybe that's why she didn't fall for their traps. Or perhaps it was because the God of Death was at her side guiding her and protecting her. The day she got her Hogwarts letter she knew something was wrong, for why else would a magical child be left with someone who hates magic? To find out the truth she went back to Diagon Alley to get aid from the goblins. The truth was far worse than what an 11 year old should be facing, all alone. But she wasn't alone. Not really.

This is the story of Rose Potter and how she defied those who sought to control her and found love along the way. More love than she could ever imagine she would be receiving from people she was supposed to fear and hate. But what is the truth? Is the light side really that good if they left her with abusive muggles? Is Dumbledore really the leader of the light when he leaves her to fend for herself time and time again? Is the Dark really fighting for muggleborn extinction?

Everybody is shocked when Olivia arrives at Hogwarts during the 5th year. No one seems to know anything about her, except Dumbledore. And many want to know... Names and characters (except the main character) are taken from JK Rowling's work. I don't own any of them. Nevertheless, the story is my invention. I don't agree with Rowling's homotransphobic views. DISCLAIMER: In this story: Narcissa and Bella are step-sisters and are not blood-related. The only challenges Harry had to face were stealing the Philosopher's Stone from Lord Voldemort and sending his ghost away in the Chamber of Secret. The Three Wizards Tournament didn't involve Barty Crouch Junior at all and everything went well, in fact Cedric didn't die in the last challenge. Sirius was at Azkaban until Harry went to Elementary school, then he was freed by Dumbledore and was sent home; he needed to prove to the Ministry of Magic he was capable of taking care of himself and only after six years he found out about his Godson. Harry has been living at Grimmauld Place with Sirius ever since he went to Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort hasn't risen completely yet. Luna, Ginny and Astoria are all in the same year. Remus works at the Ministry of Magic and comes to visit Sirius once in a while. Olivia, the main character, grew up half with Bellatrix and half with Sirius, but only in the present time he could win the battle with Bellatrix and send Olivia to Hogwarts.
