Kokichi is your average little shit of a teenage boy, his main source of entertainment is just him being the class clown and causing trouble to get laughs out of people. After getting expelled from his old school, rumors spread about him like wildfire. 

On the other hand, Shuichi is a rather aloof detective-in-training that tends to keep to himself and doesn't speak unless spoken to. He happened to catch ear of these rumors, and learned that this Kokichi boy would be coming to his school as a new student.

A part of Shuichi hoped they'd never have to cross paths all that much, but..

Well, they may have a lot more in common than they anticipated, and it has a lot to do with their parents. Shuichi is the son of Makoto and Kyoko Kirigiri, while Kokichi is the son of Celestia Ludenberg. Since the boys both attend an average highschool, they'd never anticipate that their parents knew one another from such a prestigious academy.All Rights Reserved
