The Selection

The Hart siblings are four Americans living in London. When both their parents are sent off for military service, they are sent to live in the middle of nowhere with a mysterious millionaire, Mr. Andrews. It is here that the youngest, Lizzie discovers a portal to another world. However, unlike Narnia, Hawthorn is full of poverty and depression due to the oppressive President Lecter. After following his sister in, Jonathan is transported to Hawthorn where he learns about the Selection, a yearly tournament that pins twenty-four of Hawthorn's citizens against each other, with only one survivor. Having been selected, John learns that his three siblings have also been selected. How will the Hart siblings handle being pinned against one another for the sake of their lives? They are about to learn that their sibling love, is no match for sibling rivalries when life and death are on the line.
