'𝓒𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓮𝓻.' 𝓘 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓱𝓲𝓶 𝓪 𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓴. '𝓓𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰.' 𝓗𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓷𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓯𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓻. ★·.·'¯'·.·★ ... ★·.·'¯'·.·★★·.·'¯'·.·★ ... ★·.·'¯'·.·★★·.·'¯'·.·★ ... ★·.·'¯'·.·★ The general was a man bearing a merciless heart. A truly sad thing to see, at his age of twenty three. His heart was not returning to it's original state. This could not be changed. His only boss was the king, and his father. One of which dead, and the other quite close to this fate. They would all know him by General Brock Cortes. When citizens of the kingdom would say his name, everyone would remember the man who's spirit was dulled in the war, leaving this general jaded and unforgiving. He had seen too much bloodshed, too much gore to be bothered by the niceties of life. He had forgotten what his heart was capable of. Love. In the great forests of the Northern Kingdom Of Nymphs, there is a nymph guarding a sector along the edge of the forest, by the sea. She was devoted to her land, a small portion as it was, and spent all of her efforts in giving back to the earth that had raised her. They would know her by the name Gallaleigha. Not many knew of her, as she was emotionally bound to the outskirts of her territory. And this way, she had lost her sense of humanity. She had become so loyal and dedicated to her role as peacekeeper in this greenery that she had forgotten what it was like to be around other beings. She had forgotten the very same thing the general had; love. And so, you may wonder, how can two reignite something in each other that neither remember they had? No matter how hard us realists try, some things are inexplicable, and this love story is. Most love stories are anyways. ↫↫↫ Book one of the Four Courts series ↬↬↬

⚠️ Content Warning This story is not for everyone. It explores dark emotions, trauma, abuse, and complicated relationships. Some scenes may be disturbing or emotionally heavy. It's about love, guilt, loss, and the painful ways people learn to forgive. If you're looking for something light, this isn't it. But if you want to feel something real - keep reading. When scandal strips me of my name, I'm sent away to a fog-covered mansion in the hills - a place meant to bury noise, not memories. My father calls it redemption. I call it exile. But the mansion isn't silent. It watches. It listens. And inside it waits Yahir, the boy who once hated me - and now can't seem to look away. Some loves ruin you quietly, like frost seeping through glass. Others devour you whole. As I try to rebuild what's left of me, the world keeps shifting around us: Freed and Volkan, trapped in a cycle of love and violence they can't escape. Ashar and Laith, bound by loyalty and ghosts of the past. And me - trying not to fall for the one person I was never meant to live with. Because love here isn't soft. It's punishment dressed as tenderness. And some wounds refuse to heal, no matter how far you run.
