Sweet Caroline and her mama starts fresh in the state of California, where their new life unfolds. Growing up in a farm, it wasn't necessarily easy for Caroline to connect with anyone at her new school because of her interest in muddy activities. Except for a certain 'somebody' who takes interest in her. For Caroline's fourteenth birthday, she receives a German Shepherd puppy whom she adores despite being a cat lover. Caroline lives her teenage life peacefully until her sixteen birthday, when that 'interested' person becomes overly attached to her, turning her life around, possibly for worse.
