Emery Marshall is the oldest daughter of Hayley Marshall. When she gets captured by Marcel and held for a year before they came and got Klaus. Emery was rescued along side Klaus. She met her birth mother, but Hayley treated her like she was just another werewolf. Kol treated Emery like his daughter, and Davina became like Emery's mom. The Hollow came for her and Hope, but one thing happened and The Mikealsons were sent to the four corners of the world.

When Emery is held captive by Marcel for a year the witch he uses to put the blood boundary spell on her is his own daughter, Averie. Averie was adopted by Marcel when she was ten. He found her shortly after he put Klaus and the rest of Mikealsons down, and he raised her as his own for five years. Averie is a siphoned witch from the New Orleans Trème coven. Her family threw out on the streets when they discovered her powers. She and Emery are the same age. Emery and Averie became best friends when they reconciled their differences. Marcel sent Averie to the same school as Emery and Hope. Emery and Averie graduated high school together, and they started their own business, "Supernatural Sweets."
