It's a new year in Marymount Manhattan University, and the life of nine students intertwine in the most unique way. They're friends, or so they say, but the ups and downs of College life seem to be more than usual for these girls. They have to battle with adulthood, college life, finances, their love lives, and the great old 'confusion about sexuality' It's dynamic, and it's a fun story that centers on more than one character. But don't forget, there's always that one person telling the story, and that person, is me- Daphne Kingston. This story has tons of sapphic themes, so if you don't like that then what are you doing here? But it also deals with way more than that. It's sort of based off my life, if mt life was interesting, anyway. Delve in and I promise you won't regret it, enjoy! Ps- there would be smut, so beware.

When Sophie Bennett arrives at prestigious Westbrook University for her freshman year, she's ready for the classic college experience: new friends, late-night study sessions, and maybe even romance. What she's not ready for is to find Jake Carter unpacking his stuff in what's supposed to be her single dorm room. Due to a catastrophic housing system glitch during peak enrollment, they've both been assigned to Room 304 in the co-ed Arlington Hall-and with every dorm on campus filled to capacity and a housing waitlist stretching into next semester, they're stuck together. Sophie is a driven psychology major with color-coded planners and dreams of becoming a therapist, while Jake is a laid-back architecture major who takes life as it comes, with a sketchbook always in hand and a tendency to stay up until 3 AM working on projects. Living in impossibly close quarters means witnessing each other at their most vulnerable-Jake walking around shirtless after morning showers, Sophie in oversized t-shirts with sleep-mussed hair, stolen glances that linger too long, and an accidental kiss during a moment of weakness that they both agree to forget (even though neither of them can). As they navigate the electric tension crackling between them, establish ground rules that become harder to follow, and pretend that sharing a room with someone you're wildly attracted to is totally normal, Sophie and Jake discover that the line between roommates and something more isn't just blurred-it's completely erased. By the time they finally stop fighting what's been building between them since day one, they'll realize that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you never saw coming, and that falling in love with your roommate might just be the perfect disaster.
