As the Survey Corps gear up and battle for Wall Maria, all hope is lost when most of the squads get wiped out and rumors of Captain Levi dieing begin to spread around the camps as he is gone for more than a week. You may think that Erwin is going to retreat, but no. Erwin wants to get the information that is stuck in Eren's basement. But with not that many people, it is basically impossible. Attack on Titan: Remembrance goes through the Battle for Wall Maria and a part for acceptance. It goes through that people accept that Levi is dead, but they don't accept Erwin's call to not retreat. The story goes through the thoughts of Eren, Armin, Mikasa and Petra to really see what went on during the battle.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
