Web Of Lies

Monique stumbled from the basement clutching at the gaping hole that used to be her eye, she had been left blinded by the explosion that rocked her father’s laboratory just a few moments earlier. As the blood steadily trickled from the empty socket, her thought locked onto the creature that had pursued her, half man half beast. She couldn’t help but think that somehow it had reminded her of Viktor, her long time lover that her father had so vehemently detested.
