The Dogfighter
‘Countless soldiers sat at their posts, shooting across no man’s land, their fingers pulling the triggers and feeding the guns ammunition like a well-oiled machine, created for one purpose; war.’ When Johann is shot down in a dogfight over England, he thinks that things can not get any worse. But then he is sent to the front line at the Somme to be a stretcher bearer for the British army. It is there that he discovers the true nightmare of World War One, and how the greatest courage was shown in the bloodiest battle Britain has ever seen.Complete![Into The Trenches: A World War I Journal [2019]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/196405621-256-k421239.jpg)
Into The Trenches: A World War I Journal [2019]
It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. These may not be complete, so if a chapter is not marked and should be, please comment to let me know. Written in 2019 (age 15).Complete

After War Is Over
It's 1917. You are a medic in the war, crawling through no man's land to save your fellow soldiers. You are captured during you rendezvous by a German field medic -- a dark haired man who's pointing a Mauser at you and bleeding out. You must save him, you have no choice. You commit treachery -- you fall in love with him, even when you don't speak the same language. - There is a lot of German in the fic, and I do NOT expect you to understand any of it. That's the point, the reader canonically cannot understand German. You aren't expected to translate everything (but you can if you want to, I might have slipped in a few jokes.) Tactically translated German (Aka Maxis translating) is in bolded sentences.Complete
Of The Dark
She was a kind, everyday girl imprisoned under the tyranny of the Nazi regime. He was the self-righteous son of one of the most powerful men in the Third Reich. What kind of war will break out when these two worlds collide? - Suppression and subservience are being forcibly integrated into the life of Hana Amsel; a selfless and arguably naïve girl who has somehow found herself victim to the tyrannous and despotic rule of the Nazi Party homed in Germany. Though she insists that nothing could be worse than losing her home, freedom, and ability to proudly call herself 'German', her patience and implausible kindness are put to the test when she is forced to work for the man who spent a night violating her virtue. - Trigger Warning: Some scenes may be triggering for certain audiences with mentions of murder, suicide, rape etc.Complete
