The clans live in complete harmony, but this is a story of struggles within each clan:
Quailpaw's younger brother has been kidnapped without a trace, and her sister recently became a medicine cat and has been in another world these days.
Fennelspot is rude and a jerk, but really likes the new medicine cat. Would she like her too, and does Fennelspot have a good heart, behind the tough exterior?
Lightberry just became a father and is worried he won't be enough. But he doesn't want to go back to being a warrior either. Will he defy the warrior code and forge his own path?
Rubblepaw is fed up with the dumb and snooty apprentices. Their mentor is horrible too and they can't imagine how he got chosen. Hopefully their training won't be much longer.
Brightstar deals with so much pressure, being the SunClan leader. But when a jerk cat irks her, that's the last straw. She's done settling.
