A Rodrick Heffley x Male Reader fanfic because I don't see enough male reader stories, and I really just wanted to see some gay people love each other in a slow burn. (I'm a gay sinner, so I might as well.)

FOREWARNINGS:
1) I'M SUPER BAD AT WRITING. (Both creativity and grammar wise.)
2) There's obviously going to be alcohol because it's Rodrick, what do you expect?
3) It's a slow burn. (I think so, at least. I'm not good at planning.)
4) Rodrick thinks he's straight at first, because obviously.
5) Reader has quite a different life from Rodrick, one big similarity being they both have both parents still together and alive.
6) (Y/N) is kind of a dick at first, always being taught to be polite, kind, proper, and rule-following, so being around Rodrick is going against all his mannerisms. (Basically the complete opposite of Rodrick.)
7) There signs/very explicit mentions of abuse (probably)
8) There's 100% homophobia because I have to have drama :D

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
