In a world that has been overrun by foreigners, a world that shamelessly murdered our mother as well as countless others, I stand alone with my younger brother without the dead weight of my naïve innocence I had carried for the past fourteen years of my life. I was afraid, so very afraid, yet I felt stronger than ever. I, a child, was able to endure this miserable nightmare.

[COMPLETED] I was cursed at such a young age, abandoned by my own wolf and the Moon Goddess for something that wasn't in my control. I don't even think having a mate is in the cards for me... ✨🌘✨ I jumped when the final horn sounded, circling the garden before everyone became silent. They all returned to their seats, my father rising from his chair as I stood from my seat along with the other pups. I struggled to breath as we took our position, standing in the centre away from everyone else. My father offered me a reassuring glance though it did nothing to ease my anxiety, all I had to do now was wait. My eyes widened when the moons blue light shined down on me, illuminating my skin as I stared up at the sky in awe. "We thank the moon goddess for the power of her light..." I dropped my gaze back down, my fathers words surrounding us, "...Shall it bathe you and grant you strength, agility, speed like the wolf..." The pups around me began to moan in pain, capturing my attention as I furrowed my brows. Their features were all contorted by an invisible pain that inflicted them but I felt absolutely nothing. My heart raced when their groans of pain became screams but I- I suddenly drop to the ground, a painful throbbing in my head forcing me to the ground. I grip the sides of my head, screaming. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! This book is mature and should only be read if you are 18+. There are depictions of violence, mature language, sexual behaviour and sexual abuse.

Re-posting. The common story is that finding a mate is supposed to make the wolf stronger. For an alpha, finding his mate, blessed by the moon goddess, strengthens the pack. But there can be such darkness hidden in that dynamic. Even those of cruel hearts can seek the power of a mate. And the damage they cause might not ever be healed. ***** Prologue: Drip. Drip. Drip. The rhythm or the water would have been soothing if it hadn't been so cruel. Drip. As it was, it was nothing more than a taunting form of torture. Drip. Ears could hear the soft thudding of raindrops at the end of the hall as a door was pulled open in squeaking protests and then shut with a harsh metallic clang. How the rain made its way into the depths of the cement room, it didn't matter. It was there. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. The footsteps were strong and full of purpose. Though just as unwanted as the drops of water that fell too far out of reach. Unable to quench the dehydrated desperation chained to the wall. Drip. Step. Drip. Step. Only one set of footsteps. There was no question of the destination or purpose that carried them down the hall. Not that it was a surprise. It was always the same. First the pain, then the visit. The cell door opened to darkness. There was no energy to move, not even enough to will eyelids to open. Not that it mattered. The visit never changed. What more could be said? What more could be done? All that mattered was that stale, barely edible food was only given after he was done. Only then, could there be any comfort from hell. ***** WARNING- This story does delve into topics of kidnapping, imprisonment, rape, murder, and violence. Though the scenes are not explicitly detailed, underage readers are discouraged. Also note that I do not own the rights to any photos I have or might post for this story. Just photos I found online, cropped and edited. The story however, is all mine. No copy of content is permitted.

Imagine a life in utter silence. Imagine having your thoughts trapped in your body, craving for them to be shared. Well, imagine no further. That was my life. I was born deaf and mute, and lived with the effects for the better part of my childhood. I struggled daily while also suffering horrible tragedies at a very young age. From bullying to hate crimes, I experienced them all while still learning about the world. Most people would have quit trying. But with my family unsure of their future, it was up to me to push forward and give them hope.
