The question remains, where did the benders go in the first place and why are they returning? But most importantly of all, where is the Avatar?

This book is about Earth being saved from it's previous inhabitants. At the literal center of the universe lays a deadly laser, capable of destroying anything, whether it be an asteroid, or a star. Will our hero save Earth? Or will she die trying?
