There was no hope, no saftey, there was only a fight. A constant fight between reality and lie created infront of his eyes. There was no hope for him. Untill he saw thoes blue eyes. 

He didn't know when al of those visions became reality, it was so hard to separate them, until he realized. Those eyes were true, the emotions in them so vivid and his Force so close to his heart. Palpatin couldn't touch his soul, his core. The only one who could do that was Anakin. His Ani. And that was how he knew.
