2B is a YoRHa Unit that stands out for her slim yet full-figured and callipygous physique, as well as for her graceful movements. She wears somewhat revealing attire, which allows her to move freely in combat. Recently, she and her partner, 9S, completed a dangerous mission that involved the destruction of a large machine lifeform facility. During the mission, 9S suffered serious injuries that required immediate attention and repairs. In order to get help, 2B travels to a nearby resistance base called Camp Haibara. However, upon her arrival, she can't shake off an awful feeling that something is not right. She has heard rumors that the base commander of Camp Haibara is notorious, but unfortunately for her, not for the reasons she might expect.
Set a year after the events of NieR: Automata, To Be Redeemed sees the android Accord bring Zero, the protagonist of Drakengard 3 into the world of NieR. The story follows the events of the post-Ending E stage concert. In keeping with the theme of multiple endings, To Be Redeemed begins after the leaked/troll ending of the show in which 2B fails to recover 9S.
Can Accord and Zero bring a brighter future to 2B? The short answer is - it's a NieR story.
