Mature
Kenna Richardson and her father are trying to make ends meet after a tumultuous divorce. She is forced to transfer schools and transform her life after her father can no longer afford the lifestyle they had before. Her only solace comes from nightly walks in the park behind her house.

Until the night when her new life changes. After being chased, and saved, in the park, Kenna is left questioning who her mysterious savior was. Keeping it from her father, Kenna is determined to find the mysterious boy who saved her and to find answers about why she needed saving at all.

At school, the mysterious Tylor Nolan is freshly out of the juvenile detention center and suddenly a focal point of Kenna's life. She spends her evenings tutoring him and finding more out about herself than she ever expected while he only gives her enough information about himself to keep her on the outside.

Kenna didn't believe her new life would be better than her former one, but she quickly learns that people are not always who they seem.

Since he was a child, Damen Everett knows that he and his siblings are living on borrowed time. The younger son of the country's biggest gold smuggler, Damen watched his elder brother become a part of the world that runs on shadows when their father died. He stood at a distance from this world where power is supreme, and death is inevitable, watching it slowly consume every possibility of happiness he or his family could dream of. For him, this world represents everything dark there is in the universe, a collection of human filth and pain and fear. He vowed to himself that till his last breath, he would stay as far away from it as possible, locking himself away within himself. And then he met a woman. A woman who bought cheeseburgers from assassins and picked pockets faster than he could blink; who giggles like a child and kills like a viper. The woman who saved his life, not once, but always. The Goddess of the Hunt.
