"I dare you to make the new girl fall in love with you within six months."

I look over at the new girl, she and another guy are standing by their lockers talking.

"Challenge accepted" I say as I make eye contact with the guy beside her.
---
"I bought this new book yesterday-"

"What a shocker." I mutter and she stops talking.

"Just listen!" She says, continuing to speak without waiting for me to respond.

I look around us and I see two guys. Both looking in our direction, I lock eyes with one of them. Blue meets blue, he gives me a seemingly genuine smile and two thoughts crosses my mind.

The first thought: He's one of those that'll lead you on and then ghost you when you're balls deeply in love with him.

The second thought. "Hey Ellen, how long do you think it'll take me to turn him?" I say, still keeping eye contact with Blondie as I discreetly point in his direction. He looks away when Ellen turns to see who I'm looking at.

She ponders for a moment while she opens her locker. "Well since the last guy took you like eight months, I'd say like seven months." She says as she grabs her history book and closes the locker. "You know. One day, this game you're playing is gonna come back and bite you in the ass."

"Ellen... it's fine, and seven months? I'm offended!" I say with a dramatic gasp.

Ellen laughs. "Fine then, I'll say this. I dare you to turn blondie within six months." She says with a grin.

I look back over her shoulder and see Blondie already looking at us. Blue meets blue yet again and I smile at him before turning back to my sister.

"Challenge accepted." I say as the bell rings and we head to our next lecture.

Let the game begin.
-----

Just a silly story about two guys falling in love.

PS: The release schedule is nonexistent atp because of school and I have to plan the outcome of the book.

(I know that it isn't possible to "change" someone's sexuality so don't take the saying "turn him" seriously!)
