Every one in Maysville, Kentucky, knew who Mercy Summers was; it was impossible not to know the sweetheart who had won over the hearts of everybody in town. She was the kind of girl you fell in love with simply by glancing at her smile. But then she crashed her car on the interstate, and when she came out of hospital, Mercy Summers was a completely different person.
