Previously called After Last Sacrifice. This takes place after Last Sacrifice. Sydney has discovered a way for dhampirs to have kids together. Knowing this Dimitri says he is ready for kids, but Rose isn't sure. She knows that having kids will affect her ablity to protect Lissa from outside dangers. Will Rose and Dimitri have kids?

vampire academy: Dimitri comes out of the caves a changed man. An old friend asks for his help but it means leaving Rose behind for a dangerous mission that could cost him his life. But he really has no choice. Of course Rose isn't simply going to let him go.

Dimitri told Rose love fades mine has, but he didn't mean it. Dimitri hurt Rose so much that Rose didn't even care anymore all she wanted was the pain to go away. What will happen will they be able to save Rose or will they fail and be killed or worse awakened?
