The Maw is no place for children. It has a way of drawing creatures toward it; those who eat, those who are eaten, and everything in between.
The Maw, by accident, is exactly where Six and Mono end up.

Six didn't want to save Mono, but she did.
She knows what he becomes. She knows how stupid it was that she saved him. But she couldn't just leave him to die. As soon as they're out of the Pale City, she plans to run away from him.
The screens have other ideas.
When Six and Mono are forced to travel through a television, there's a glitch. Although separated by different signals, they're sent to the same place - the Maw, a feeding ground stranded in the ocean. Mono, thrown into seemingly-peaceful rooms, wants to find his way back to Six and escape with her. Six, lost in the darkest depths of the ship, wishes to escape by herself; seeing all others as a threat.
It's not simply a fight against the outside world anymore. Without each other to lean on, with danger brewing, with darkness found inside and out...the two may not make it out alive.
One thing is certain.
Nightmares don't have happy endings.

A story based on revenge ends up being an adventure full of hard decisions, new friends, and uncaging the truth about what happened to their world. Mono never thought he'd work together with Six again, but will a new threat, the "Happy Man", change his mind and force the four characters to team up? Or will grudges and past traumas turn their lives into a nightmare? Characters are all 14 except for Six who is 13. They act more mature than regular kids cuz they've been through hell so, but they still have normal childish tendencies. Also uploaded on AO3 under the name AverageArchiver1.

what if six didn't exist? and it was up to these two misfits to save the confusing and terrifying world of little nightmares?? seven wakes up on his bed and takes his plan to escape into action, he meets a boy named Mono and together they try to escape the Maw and defeat the lady, will they succeed? who knows? (and no the mono x seven bit isn't really to present in this book, this book centers around the maw so maybe next i will make a book after they escape, basically its just some good ol teamwork between these two cause why not?) Feeling unsatisfied with what happens, you imagine yourself going in and changing it yourself like a child's imagination, when you suddenly seem to feel strange, grabbing what you can, you black out and wake up at the maw, next to a familiar suitcase. Mono made it down deeper into the Maw hiding away in the shadows, but when the shadows house a monster that attacks a boy that Mono met when he first arrived he immediately jumps in to save him... he hopes he doesn't regret placing his trust in this boy... // Hi... What if Mono stayed in the Wilderness? What if Seven survived the Maw and went to the Wilderness? What if Mono and Seven become friends instead of Six? Basically this is from a series of "what if" questions that I attempt to answer.
