Over 80 million years ago Chicago IL, was terrorized and intimidated by a power darkness that once lurked the city.

Two people were born to protect the city and defeat the darkness.

Problem is, those two people couldn't be alive at the same time. Meaning, one would have to die or the darkness would escape and lurk the streets until both people were dead. The darkness won't die until the two people are dead.

Like darkness and light, lighting and thunder, sun and moon.

And all time favorite, fire and ice. But...don't those two together, cause smoke?

I put the gun to his head, his arm reaches up, placing his gun to my head. I hold back the tears in my eyes, yet they still fall down my face pathetically.

He smiles softly, that loving smile that always made me swoon, yet this time makes me sob thinking of the fact I won't see it again. He kisses me softly.
