Vanessa is on a plane going on a trip to Canada to visit her brother Matthew, but a geomagnetic disaster has the plane go down and crash. Vanessa survives (Somehow) and is in a forest.

Lost and everything looks down, Vanessa's phone had been lost in the plane crash and it's cold. Finding a nice old fashioned travel bag and stuffing it with your basic survival needs, Vanessa went off to find help. Since everyone else was dead, and the pilots too.

Vanessa wanders and scavenges through cars and houses, feeling bad but she needed what she came across. And when wandering the streets, she meets another survivor, and it turns out to be passenger from the plane.

Together the two team up and begin to head for the radio tower, and it takes longer than the two expected. Mother nature has it in for them, the wildlife relentless, and supplies limited. And by the end, all the suffering and pain was worth the survival and all.
