There’s a fine line between reality and fantasy, and no one knows that better than Shay Venice.

Shay straddles that dimensional barrier; girl by day, sorceress by night. Because every time she falls asleep, Shay is transported to, quite literally, another reality, where magic is as common as cell phones and creatures of all types roam free.

Tossed between two worlds with few to confide in, Shay struggles to live her separate lives. That’s not always the easiest thing, however; especially after she meets rival, stuck-up sorcerer Gideon Cross, son of her own mentor’s bitter enemy. He’s strategic, devious, and utterly certain of his future—everything that Shay is not, and she finds herself hating him for it. And with Gideon’s father campaigning with lies for leadership of the magical place’s anarchy, Shay is certain that there’s more to him than it seems.

Caught in the center of it all, it becomes harder and harder for Shay to keep the universes apart. And with more enemies than friends, the odds aren’t exactly in her favor. But fate, as usual, seems to have its own plans.
