Lauren Jauregui lost her mother in a car accident, after she fell deeper into the darkness that is her mind. She is now an underground fighter, taking her anger out on anyone brave enough to step in the ring. Her father isn't much help, all he does is drink and sleep with random women. Lauren knows the only way to support her siblings is to keep fighting, but that's slowly killing her.

When the famous girl group 4 Settings show up to finish school, Camila Cabello can't help but have a faint memory of Lauren. The other members of 4 Settings, Dinah Jane Hanson, Ally Brooke Hernandez and Normani Hamilton, grow suspicious of Lauren after hearing the many stories Camila told and the stories everyone else tells.
