Madeline Russo wants to stay as far away from the family business as possible. She has spent her entire life on the edge of her family, trying to avoid anything mafia-related at all costs. But that doesn't seem to be an option when she's the only possible heir to her fathers role of underboss in the family mafia.

Michele Cooper-Chen has been fighting for first place his whole life. He wants to take over his family mafia and use that power to do some sort of good while still keeping the family legacy alive, but that seems impossible to achieve when there are four other possible heirs.
