When Bellatrix first stumbled into the hotel, she thought it was a joke. A stupid, little, joke. She never believed in redemption, but for some reason, she decided to 'help' them anyway.
She never knew why.
Maybe it was because she wanted to escape things that always caught up to her? Maybe it was because she felt so weird around other people? Or maybe it was because her best friend, Angel Dust, was a resident of the hotel?
She didn't know.
