The way back home

"People always think the end of the world literally means the end, but what happens to us? The people that seemed to survive against all odds, why are we special? What did we do to deserve to inherit a broken world?" Brea felt herself scoff slightly before bringing the recorder back up to her lips, "it doesn't matter nowadays, all that matters now is that we continue to adapt. We may lose ourselves but we can't lose our humanity- that's not what everyone we've lost wants to see, so we have to keep our new family together because blood isn't worth much anymore" Brea said as she glanced back to a group of teens and felt herself smile. "As long as I have them, I think we cannot only survive but thrive. As long as we remember who we've lost we can beat this world"

When a group of teens gets thrown into a post apocalyptic world how will they adapt to the new world with no laws? People are forced to adapt as the dead walk the earth once more but who knows what the world holds nowadays?
