Just to Let You guys know, even though you probably assumed as much, I do not own rights to any Disney content, and this is just a silly little project I decided to start. READ IT! And I hope you enjoy :)
"OMG! WHY DID DISNEY TAKE OUT THE LOVE STORY?!?! UGH WE COULD'VE HAD SO MUCH BETTER! DISNEY REALLY FUMBLED WITH THIS ONE!" While I do understand the complaints of everyone I've seen online write these things, I can also understand, respect, and appreciate Disney's thought process when it came to Wish. That doesn't mean, however, that I don't think it could have been better. Personally, I think Wish was about a 5/10. It was good for a kid's movie and contained easter eggs that I loved. At the end of the day, it delivered, but delivered for a different audience. This version, I'm hoping, contains a bit of that Disney appeal, while also appealing to an audience that can understand a bit more, and can take a bit more mature content. That being said, though I haven't gotten there yet, I will be including the love aspect and twisting a few things to change it up. And now, without further ado, I give you my little retelling of Wish, entitled: When You Wish Upon A Star. Enjoy! And happy reading!
