Being a Pogue means having a good time. Being a Pogue means surfing, drinking and partying. Being a Pogue means you can do whatever the hell you want.

But being a Pogue also means abusive dads and missing ones. Being a Pogue means going hungry because you can't afford food. Being a Pogue means you know you'll never amount to anything important.

John B loves being a Pogue. Because despite all the shitty that comes with it, being a Pogue means John B has JJ.
