Being the only person to be born and raised in the Fortress of Meropide, you never really know what life is like outside the prison.

When a new inmate of the fortress, Wriothesley, was also the same age as you, you befriended him. Both of you helped to fend for each other in the prison.

But Wriothesley have other plans. After becoming the fortress administrator, he decides to kick you out of the fortress, causing both of your friendship to fall apart. You didn't know why until you met him again and discover something precious in his office that explains everything that he did and all the thoughts and feelings he has about you.
