Patrick and his brother Michael were driving one day to go get some food for themselves then the unthinkable happened.. There was the biggest flash in the sky. After they were out of being disoriented from the blast the looked up the sun was gone. They looked on the news when they hit back home. It had seemed that the sun had exploded and scientists said that the earth had 6 months to evacuate all of the people on earth in order for the people of earth to survive. This planet is dead the newscasters said and we cannot do anything about it. What Patrick did was go to each of his friends round them up and go start building there own ship to survive the exploding of the sun. In there journey for 6 months will they save there families and venture off in to space to find a new home will the people of earth survive? Will there families be saved from the building of this spacecraft?

In a world where everything is normal, except for one spot. In this spot, the sun never shines, it's forever dark and cold. Monsters prowl the earth, fighting and killing over territory and food. However, all the rest of the world is normal, the sun rises and sets all the same. The season come and go, the temperature rises and falls naturally. In this world two people will face many problems. What will they choose? How will they survive? What will they leave behind, or hurt as they make their decisions? ^The idea for this book I've been pondering for some time.
