2834. Ever since they met against the backdrop of historical small town Kevechy as kids, Archie and Lucia have been inseparable. They share days in the youth centre and nights of adventure, dreaming of a city that lies just out of their reach. They trade secrets and whisper in awe of the legends of the past century - trains that can take a person to any point in spacetime, a virtual reality indistinguishable from real life. Mostly, Archie and Lucia keep each other afloat in a world that seems to want them to drown. But that world is changing, and things are about to happen - have already happened - that neither of them could begin to comprehend. Over the next eighteen years of their lives, humanity's dark and unknown past will slowly come to light, as surely as it will split them apart. Both of them will learn in their own way, in time, why only children can be visionaries.

"What, you wanna go back to Earth and just hope it turns out okay? Knowing all this is out here?" Sabrina and Scotty Devon's summer trip took them further than they could have imagined. A chance encounter on a London street led to an honest-to-God alien abduction, a rescue, and a trip to the front lines of a planetary siege. Not sure whether to trust their rescuer or the elderly king wanting them to stay as companions to his long-lost daughter, the siblings find themselves forming an unlikely family for a princess learning to control her amazing powers, along with her reluctant tutor and his even more reluctant Wayship. But an ancient cold war threatens to tear their makeshift family apart...if their journey of discovery doesn't kill them first.
