Stereotype killer: Being abused and neglected isn't a fast track to godhood

[This is NOT an Abused and Neglected Male reader story, this is a story about the main character getting stuck in this stereotype as Ruby.]

We all know the stereotypical story by now. Y/N Rose is born into a loving family, but then as soon as tragedy befalls that family in the form of Summer Rose dying, Y/N is abused and neglected, becoming the target of the family's anger. Later on he escapes, becomes powerful, possibly teams up with Salem, gets revenge, and then things spin off from there.

But what if we added something new, or more accurately...

Someone who has read this story before gets reincarnated as Ruby Rose on the day she was accepted into Beacon, and decides to steal the spotlight for herself.

She takes one look at her circumstances, sees that her chances of being killed are high if she doesn't play her cards right, and decides to abuse all the knowledge she has of the show to overtake Y/N's position as the most powerful being.

Will she succeed in overtaking Y/n's place? Will she be killed before her journey can truly start? Stay tuned to find out.
