Kaia Reine Lagman took Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies for fun. She had wanted to take Education since she was a kid, but experiences had dulled her desire. She didn't want to be stuck with the idea of just teaching when she realized that she'd probably just die young from it. Her vulnerable, thread-like patience will not be able to handle the attitude of learners nowadays.

This was when she met the yearly quiz bowl winner and back-to-back debater of the year, Gideon Kyro Herron, who spitted the most sensible words she had ever heard, and vomited the words of law so flawlessly like he had created them. He was the son of Mayor Herron, who was always on the headlines of the news for his good deeds. He stands out in the sea of people with his dominant height, and his dreamlike face with his glasses on made him look like a nerd who transformed into a ruthless class president.

Kaia had liked him ever since she saw him win a debate about death penalty. And when opportunity came her way to finally splatter his life with some drizzles of her existence, she wasted no time.
