As I stepped forward, I fisted my shaking fingers. The sound of applause echoed, but in my head, it felt like taunts. I trembled as the spotlight found me; whispers filled the room, always doubting my capabilities. As I reached the stage, my grandfather gave me his reassuring smile, as always. I touched his feet out of respect, then turned towards the people of this company, looking at me with hope. I felt a sharp pain in my heart as I remembered the emptiness in our lives. The voices in my head returned, reminding me why I didn't deserve this. I shouldn't be here, before everyone I had caused harm to. But here I was, standing before them, promising to provide the future and everything they deserved, which had been destroyed because of me. My lips trembled before I tried to speak. Then, I found him in the crowd - the man who lived to defeat me. His eyes were challenging, looking straight into mine, fading every other voice. Something changed; my fingers held the microphone with newfound confidence. I took a deep breath, looked at the crowd, and started my speech. "This is the story of an unfortunate, unnoticed, yet requisite love."

"You are no wife to me, you got it!? I'm marrying you because of circumstances and the sooner you feed it in your brain the better it will be for you understand" he said while pushing my back against the wall with force, making me grunt when pain shot through my body. I try to break free by pushing and squirming but it's no use. "Answer me! Don't look away when I'm talking to you! Do you get what I just said or do I need to make myself a little more clear," he said in a dangerously low voice, looking straight into my eyes. "Yes, I know I'm no wife to you and believe me I have no interest in being your wife," I said finally finding my escape from his grip causing me to smirk at him. He looked at me giving me a confused look. "why are you smirking bitch?" "Oh, you're about to find out," I said and kicked him where the sun don't shine, making it extra painful as he fell to his knees, clutching his family jewels for the sake of his life.
