Indra and Ashura, the sage's two sons, were opposites, which led to the Uchiha and Senju conflict. Despite death, the brothers stayed committed to their ideals. The cycle of struggle, rebirth, and violence continues for generations.
Even in deadly circumstances, the most recent incarnates recollect their previous existence. Failing to fight and seek forgiveness, they resolve to end the cycle and bring peace.
