Izuku Midoriya was just a normal 14 year old boy. In his world 80% of the population has a supernatural ability called a quirk, that you get when you are around 4 years old. Izuku however was part of the 20% of the population who didn't have a quirk, therefore making him quirkless.
One day he meets his idol All Might. All Might tells him he can be a hero and offers to give him his quirk. One day during training Izuku come home to his apartment destroyed, and his mom dead.
So what does he do? Become Shadow the vigilante to help those heros couldn't reach. People like his mom.

People around him would ether Ignore or bully him but everything came crashing down on him when his Idol told him that he can't become a hero so he decided to take his ex-bestfriend advice. A shadow is a hero that works in the shadows of a limelight hero, doing everything they can to ensure that their hero wouldn't die. However what happens when a hero dies and the shadow is left alone? They not only trained him and gave him a quirk but also made him be a shadow. An existence that is never written down as alive.
