９日、京畿道城南（ソンナム）の牡丹（モラン）市場で会った食堂経営者キム・ヨンボクさん（６６）は、「犬の肉はもう売っていないのか」という質問にこのように答えた。キムさんはモラン市場で３０年前から健康院を経営し、２０１８年からは付近の食堂を買い取ってポシンタン（補身湯）など犬肉料理も販売してきた。現在は市場の家畜商人会長も務めている。


この日午前１１時３０分、昼休みの時間を迎えたが、キムさんの食堂の客は１つのテーブルだけだった。注文した料理もヨムソタン（ヤギ肉スープ）だった。キムさんは「この１年間、客が半分に減った。黒ヤギ肉を注文する客が１０なら、犬肉を注文する客は２にすぎない」とし「犬の肉はもうやめてメインメニューを黒ヤギに変える」と話した。"All Rights Reserved
