He tried to sue her for it, and in return, she sued him for custody of their daughter and won. He was never allowed to see the girl again, and the little girl didn't seem to care. The only problem was, after her legal issue, she was fired from her job. They didn't want a doctor that was going to cause issues in their hospital. Everly was distraught, but she had to get through it for her daughter. With one call, she found them a place to stay, and she was thankful that her family still loved her after everything that they had gone through. She just had to find a job that was willing to hire her...

I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
