Y/N had a rough life, living with her mom until age 10 when wild magic corrupts and kills her mother. When she's found by Belos at the scene he takes her in and she is made to the task of Belos left hands; only next to the Golden Guard.
With contrast of their armor and their contrasting personalities Hunter and Y/n find themselves constantly at each other's throats and competing for Belos attention and praise. Neither of them think highly of the other until they both get put on missions together, and they have to overcome their differences to not only successfully complete their missions, but over time to find out the truth of the boiling isles, Belos, and what really happened to y/n's mother, all the while denying their inpendeble feelings for the other.
