Stygian Passing

The blood pools around my feet, staining my blue onesie. My mommy bought it for me for my fourth birthday. Dad told me that I'm a big boy so I need to stop wearing little kid clothes because I'm too big, mommy told him that it was okay because I'm only four. I stand in the bathroom doorway, looking down at my mommy. Dad was standing over her, huffing and puffing like a wolf, holding something in his hand that I can't quite see.
