Cami, bitten and survives without turning, is faced with the disappearance of her little sister and likely death of her cousins. The same fate is bound to catch up to her and her family, the fate most of the world has already met.

Still, Cami is determined to find them, even if it means teaming with a group that has an expiration date, like the world, and unlike her. . She will find them, even if it means giving everything up.
