The Quake

In the first of three rom-coms set among a disaster, meet Tyler and Erin.

Erin isn't lonely even if she has no friends because she has a dream that has consumed her every waking moment up until now: to be the veterinarian for her beloved hometown of Elkton. On the verge of taking her board exams and achieving that dream, the Big One hits her town, forcing her into the role of medical practitioner for human and animal alike. Without people skills to get her through this disaster and with her twin brother missing in action, she is forced to lean on the one human left she's most comfortable around, her brother's best friend Tyler.

Tyler, who has always yearned for the closeness of family, views his best friend as a brother. Of course, when Drew goes missing in the natural disaster no one thought would ever actually happen, Tyler's only family left is his best friend's twin sister Erin, whom he has secretly pined for for years. Perhaps if he helps her adjust to her new role in the community, she will begin to look at him as more than a roommate.

Through wild animal attacks, community bonfires, experimental surgeries, and construction projects galore, Erin and Tyler must find a way to move beyond survival and into living.

In the rural town of Elkton Oregon everyone has a plan for what they'll do when the Big Quake hits. When it actually happens though, things don't go according to plan. Sometimes, though, falling in love makes it turn out better than anyone could have planned.
