Picture this:

A rural society, controlled by one ruler and a strict team of guards.

On the same day, each year, every couple who has more than one child has to pick one to be executed until they have just one left.

Brynn is a 15 year old who has feared that her parents would split her and her twin sister Ashley apart. All of their other siblings were executed from previous years.

This year, it's down to the two of them. Who will be executed? And who will be spared?
